Anchor Expands Sustainably Sourced Ingredient Capabilities
Anchor continues to invest in sustainably sourced ingredients that support evolving procurement standards and sustainability goals.
We are proud to announce that our protein processing facility in Waldo, Wisconsin has achieved Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Chain of Custody certification. This certification enables Anchor to process, store and transport MSC-certified marine proteins while maintaining full supply chain traceability.
The Marine Stewardship Council is a global nonprofit organization that sets rigorous standards to promote sustainable fishing practices, protect marine ecosystems and support fishing communities. While Anchor has distributed MSC-certified ingredients for several years, this new processing certification represents a meaningful expansion of our capabilities.
Full Chain of Custody verification is a core requirement of MSC certification. AnchorTRACE®, our proprietary supply chain traceability platform, plays a critical role in delivering this transparency with consistency and confidence.

Building on Our Sustainability Commitment
MSC certification builds on Anchor’s long-standing sustainability initiatives. In 2026, we mark five years of offering regeneratively grown specialty crops through AnchorREGEN® and AnchorCARBON, including barley, flax, oats and peas. These crops are identity-preserved throughout the supply chain and verified through third-party measurement, reporting and verification.
Together, these programs reflect Anchor’s commitment to delivering responsibly sourced, fully traceable ingredient solutions.
